Just wanted to send my deepest sympathy to your family. I am a teacher at Manito School in Oakland. Grandpa Sal read to my children for a very long time. They were always in aw of his reading and stories he told. We always looked forward to him coming. I just wanted to say that I was at the memorial tonight and was deeply touched that you had the posters and cards on display from our classes that we made him over the years. I feel amazingly blessed to have known him. Thank you for sharing him with us!
