Dear Donna Mae:
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your son Benedict. I did not know him (I wish I had). There cannot be anything more devastating then having to bury one's child. I pray that God will comfort you at this time.
You may not remember me but I held you when you were a baby. I lived on Martin St. upstairs from your mother Florence and your Dad, Al. I wanted to spend every minute I could with you. You were the cutest and sweetest child. (I was 10 years old at the time) I also enjoyed spending time with your parents. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Sincerely, Rose Trotta
