To the Family, so sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Diane has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God's Kingdom will do this under the rule of Jesus Christ. READ John 5:28, 29, Job 14:14, 15,Psalms 37:29,Matthew 6:9,10, Matthew 5:5 and Revelation 21:2-4

So sorry to hear of the passing of Diane. She will be truly missed. I had the pleasure of working with her for several years at Valley. She was a truly dedicated mother, wife and coworker. Her great sense of humor got many of us working in the trenches through some difficult days. I will miss her warm smile and conversations. God bless you Diane. Rest with God in peace. Billy DeRoker

I think about my 14 years working at Valley Middle School with fondness and great memories especially because of working with Diane. She was my "Partner in Crime," and we shared so many wonderful, heart-felt laughs.
May you rest in peace dear friend.
Know that your life, love, and work had such tremendous impact.
You will be dearly missed, and my heart is sad knowing of your passing.
My thoughts, prayers, and condolences to Diane's family and loved ones.

Dear family,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of your loved one. Keeping the Bible's message found at 2 Corinthians 1:3 in mind can help us to know that we are not alone. I hope you get the opportunity to read that scripture in your spare time. I would also like to direct you to our website JW.org and there you will find more encouraging thoughts

Diane was one of my angels on Truman Blvd. God knew I would need her help and selflessness during a difficult time in my life. For 6 years she drove my daughters to school every morning. ( she also drove theLinquito boys for years as well as the Van Hook kids!) I was at ease knowing that they were in good hands with someone who truly cared about them. I only wish I had sat with her one last time to enjoy a laugh, conversation, and glass of wine. You will be missed Diane. Love and prayers to you Robin, Jonathan, and Jeremy.

Dear Diane,
You (I know who’s the boss)and your family welcomed me into your home and made me feel part of, that something I never thought I would feel again. You helped me through some of the darkest and saddest times of my life. You never judged me and you NEVER ever let me feel sorry for myself. You for sure never let me forget how smart and strong I am.
I remember you telling me that as Mothers no matter how emotional we are, how beaten down we may feel we WILL ALWAYS be strong for our boys, because strong unwavering Mom’s raise their boys to be a man, the kind of man you can’t help but be proud of.
Jon, Jeremy your Mom loved you boys fiercely and was always so proud of you, everyday even when you didn’t make your bed.
Diane thank you for being my friend, my confidant, and my therapist on the deck. Those chats helped me more than you will ever know, you helped me find strength I didn’t know I had.
So to you I promise I will carry you, your love, your strength and your (very strong) words of wisdom always in my heart. I will NEVER just let/allow things to just happen to me. I will also promise to finish my last few credits towards my degree, I know how angry that made you. :)
Diane, Mom, Ma Ricca, St. Diane, you’ve earned them all lovingly. You are so so loved and incredibly missed. I Love you and Thank You and miss you from the bottom of my heart. Good Bye for now

Dear Diane. Jim and I are forever grateful to you for helping us with a very difficult time in Providence, Rhode Island. You and Jeremy and Jonathan eased our minds in 2000-2001 with an uncertain transition. We’ll never forget that.
Coming to school everyday was a bit sweeter and much more fun because you were there. Always with a smile, you brightened my day. I’ll never forget this about you.
Robin Jonathan and Jeremy. Our deepest sympathy to you all. May you find peace in the wonderful way Diane touched so many lives. She was a pistol! I will miss her.

Dear Robin, Jeremy and Jonathan
There are no words to express my grief over the loss of your wife, mother and the glue that held your family together. Not only is it inconceivable, but heart wrenching.
Diane and I worked side by side for the last 11 years supporting each other through good times and bad. We were always there for each other and worked together like a well oiled machine. We always knew what each other was thinking and could complete each other's thoughts.
She has been my right hand for the last 2+ years since my accident and always making sure I wasn't over doing it while recovering from many surgeries. I treasure the hug she gave me as we left work last week, wishing me well on surgery the next day.
The hardest thing for me will be returning to work on the 12th and not seeing her smiling face and sharing laughs together.
I miss her terribly. She was my best friend and we were like"sisters", sharing everything.
I wish you peace and tranquility in the coming days. Lady Di will forever be in our thoughts and will never be forgotten. She was loved by all. Thank you for sharing her with us. Love to all of you.

I'm very saddened by Diane's passing. She was an essential member of our staff at Valley Middle School. She was an incredibly reliable worker and someone I turned to throughout the school year. She had this amazing way to stop the dozens of things she was working on and give you the time to add one more thing to her list of things to do or gave you that bit of key information that you needed to take care of your work. And at the end of every school year she always asked what I had planned for the summer and when I got back she always wanted to know how things went. She was genuine in her interest of others. I valued her greatly and am glad that I had the chance to work with her for nearly 20 years and get to know such an amazing person. She will be greatly missed! My condolences go out to all her family and friends.

Diane & I became acquainted as young Oakland moms and neighbors in the late 1970's. Later we became colleagues in the Oakland schools. I looked forward always to seeing her cheery face and hearing her laughter in the office. She will be SO missed by so many individuals. Rest in peace, dear friend and may you share that smile and laughter with those in heaven.
