Constance Ann Hand, 77, of Oakland NJ passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017. Born in Jersey City NJ on September 19, 1940 to George Ipsaro and Victoria Mayo; Connie was a resident of Oakland for fifty years. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Hand, Sr. of Oakland, and by her sons Larry of Howell NJ, David of Cranbury NJ and Michael of Hershey PA.
She was a very proud grandmother of nine and great grandmother of three. Connie was a loving (and patient) wife, loyal sister, supportive mother and enthusiastic grandmother. She was best known for her ability to make amazing stuffed shells, get stains out of uniforms, color (mostly inside the lines) and her compassion for animals. She is now in a better place, enjoying some time with her sister Rose and numerous friends that left Earth before she did. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life for Connie will take place on Wednesday OCTOBER 11TH FROM 6:00 TO 8:00 PM at the Oakland Memorial Home located at 330 Ramapo Valley Road (Rt. 202) in Oakland NJ.
