Kraus, Robert R. of Oakland passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. He was 88. Born in Secaucus, he lived in Oakland for the past 55 years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia A. Reaney, daughters Sharon McNamee (Raymond) and Joan Whetham (Harold), both of West Milford, and five grandchildren.
Before retiring, he was a sheet metal worker with SMWI, Local 25, in Carlstadt. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 29 at Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland. Interment was at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
