Our treasured Katherine Louise Pianettini, 76, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Katherine is survived by her devoted and loving husband John Pianettini Jr. of 55 years and her two loving children Tom Pianettini and his wife Cindy and Kathy Senft and her husband Jon.
She was blessed to have 5 grandchildren that she cherished and cherished her: Anthony Romanish and his wife Kimberly, Sarah Pianettini, Heather Senft, Brianna Pianettini and Kadie Pianettini. She is also the great-grandmother of Aiden and Kaelyn Pianettini and baby boy Romanish due in September. Katherine is the beloved sister of 5 brothers and their wives: Keimpe Jacobs and Claire, Arthur Jacobs and Frances, twin brother Albert Jacobs and Barbara, Coby Jacobs and Ingrid and Carl Jacobs who is predeceased. Katherine also leaves behind her beloved brother in law, Salvatore Pianettini and his wife Ida.
Katherine was born and raised in Oakland, New Jersey where she spent most her life. Katherine met her husband John and they married on June 10, 1961. Together they remained in Oakland and raised their children until relocating to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in 1994.
Katherine was all about her family. She loved each one of them completely and they kept her moving on in life through her many battles with cancer.
We are fortunate to have so many great memories to help ease the pain in our hearts. For that we are forever grateful. We will feel you with us and when you walk beside us. Until we meet again, we love you!
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19th, 2017 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10am at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen, Dept. 41831, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265 in memory of our cherished and greatly missed Katherine.
