My heart goes out to the entire Kamm family-
So very sad to hear of the passing of your great patriarch. Mr. Kamm, was truly a special man with his quiet kindness and humor amid the wildly fun chaos that comes with your fabulous family. Such wonderful memories having stimulating conversations around the kitchen table at 2 Hopi Court.
Sending much Love and healing prayers-
Aileen

Dear Pakka, Deanna, Lilly and all of Opa's Family ~ It is with heartfelt sympathy that we learned from his granddaughter, Lilly, of Opa's passing. It's truly amazing that, as the saying goes, "God works in strange ways!" Two young ladies became roommates at Endicott College (Lilly and our granddaughter, Demi); and from their very close friendship, our families became a 'bigger family'. We only knew Opa, through his kindness and generosity of sharing his "Opa's Jelly". So delicious!! It was such a treat for us!! Isn't it something that you can learn to love someone you haven't personally met through an act of love and kindness???
After reading the beautiful tribute written by Pakka, we fully realized what an exceptional gentleman he was. "The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree" is an old adage which certainly applies to the members of your family we are privileged to know and love . . exceptional . . . kind . . . sincere . . . generous . . . spiritual . . . and loving!
It is our prayer that God will give you all strength, courage and support during the difficult days ahead. May God hold Opa tightly in His loving arms, and may he rest in peace with his grandson, Diete,r and all his loved ones already in that perfect place . . . heaven!
With love, prayers, and deepest sympathy ~ Carmen and Carol Quintiliani

The world has lost a light but heaven has a brilliant star. I am so grateful to have so many sweet memories of Uncle Dee. He had a most generous and kind heart. I will always remember his exaggerated German accent that was accompanied with a twinkle in his eye. No one called me "Frannie" quite like Dee.
Family was first and foremost for him and I know he will continue to impact us all. I love you all and send you heartfelt prayers as you walk through grief.

Deepest condolences to Erich, and his entire family. A beautifully written tribute to your dad- what an amazing man. I have so many fond memories of him -- and how unbelievably welcoming he always was to all his kids friends that came through the door!
Keeping you all in my prayers.

All that is written of Dee's kindness is true, but not enough.
Everyone who knew Dee loved him for that kindness; a man who will be truly missed in this world.
May God look with favor upon Dee; and keep his family in his care.

6Dee and I became close friends in junior high and remained so thereafter. He was as near to a brother as this only child will ever have. When he was not long out of school and struggling on his own, my parents took him in. I was away in the Army, but we shared a room whenever I came home. Dee never forgot my mom and dad’s help. Along with Nancy, he paid it forward unstintingly with young people, whether family members or not.
I was probably an object of his early attempts to be charitable. After I was home for good, back in college, and needing a ride, Dee was called up for his turn in the service and generously offered me the use of his car for the duration. Eventually, I repaid his generosity by returning the car with a bent bumper and a glove box full of unpaid parking tickets. True to his better nature, he got over it and got on with giving back.
I will miss him sorely. My heart goes out to Nancy and the rest of her family in deep sympathy for their loss.
