Frank Trivisani, age 88, of Oakland NJ passed away peacefully at home on Sunday December 18, 2016 surrounded by his family.
Frank was the manager of the drafting department for Singer Kearfott for 36 years before he retired. He was also very athletic: he was a runner, skier, played tennis, and a member of the Montclair YMCA where he played racquetball until the age of 86. Frank also pursued his love of art at the Oakland Senior Center. Many of his works had been featured at the Oakland Library. He would also participate in Tai Chi classes. He loved classical music attending concerts whenever he could. Frank and Doris traveled around the United States and the world together. But most of all, Frank's favorite past time was spending time with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his sons Todd and his wife Lori of Vernon, NJ; Scott and his wife Carla of Hewitt, NJ; and Dean and his wife Joyce of Oakland, NJ. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Frank is also survived by his life companion Doris Kleinatland.
Viewings will be held at the Oakland Memorial Home on Thursday December 22, 2016 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A short service will be said Friday 10:30 am followed by burial at the Ponds Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society in his name.
