Maria & I were friends as preschoolers. We played together, went to school together until High School. When we went to separate schools . We shared many special memories. We later married within a couple of years of each other. Maria moved to NJ & we both raised our families, but we always stayed in touch. Maria & Tony attended my 50th wedding anniversary party, where we shared memories.
It was a sad & unexpected day when Tony called to say Maria had passed away. I always wished we didn’t live so far apart so that we could have spent more time together.
I offer my condolences to her brother,Mario & to her two boys Steven & Michael.
May Maria RIP.
I will always remember the good times we had growing up together.

A Salute to a Loving Sister
Maria was many different things to many different people. Wife, mother, aunt, cousin, friend, volunteer, business manager, teacher and my loving sister.
She was a once in a lifetime special gift to us all!
Maria and I were 11 years apart and she was always a great sister. When I was only five, our mother took ill for an extended period. I will always remember how my sister stepped in, with my grandmother, to take care of me while my mother couldn’t. She was always there for me.
Although she moved to New Jersey long ago, we stayed close with frequent calls. There was never a harsh word between us. Not once in my seventy-one years do I remember a disagreement that caused an issue between us. We could talk about anything. We always respected one another’s opinions, feelings and views, even if we were on opposite sides of the spectrum.
My sister and I had a very special relationship, and as we got older, we grew even closer. We had a deep love and respect for one another. She was always a source of joy, comfort, compassion and encouragement, even in the most difficult of times.
Although she has now passed on, she will live forever in my heart and mind!
Farewell Maria! Or as our dad would say, “Until we meet again!”
Your loving brother,
Mario

Maria remembered me as a child and would ask me if I remembered being at her house and eating several bowls of chocolate pudding. She could see I really liked it and kept giving me more. It always brought a smile to my face that she remembered that about me. She always took the time to include a personal note in her Christmas cards. She spent time talking with my mom on the phone. She cared about people. She is missed! We are praying for all the family as they walk through this season.

My cousin Maria was my Maid of Honor and Godmother to my son John. All of our cousins lived within two block of each other, and we were always together growing up. Maria and Tony came twice to visit us in Florida. We were always so comfortable with each other and loved being together, we loved those visits . I will miss talking to her on the phone, she was always so pleasant.
Rest in peace.
Love and will miss you.
Cousins Theresa & Louis Caracciolo

Tony and family,
I first met Maria when I started volunteering at the Center for Food Action. She was such a warm, funny, wonderful person. We spent many years side by side there, packing bags for our clients and working special events like the Thanksgiving drive together. I considered her a good friend and will miss her tremendously. My deepest condolences to you all.
