Obituary of Karen Lynne White

Karen Lynne White (née Kaufmann), of Oakland NJ, passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 77 after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by Tom her lovingly devoted husband of 37 years. Karen had a very successful career as an administrative assistant at Ingersoll-Rand, and she and Tom were avid hikers and campers. She and Tom shared a passion for the rescue animals they adopted and so loving cared for over many years.

Karen is survived by her older brother Hank of Hawaii, nephews Harold and wife Sally and family, and Walter and niece Lore and family as well as sisters -in-law Lynn Sheehan, Joan and Bill Parzynski and Kathy and Gene Van Buren and their families.

Karen is predeceased by her parents, Henry and Augusta Kaufmann, a brother and his wife Walter and Hilde, a nephew Paul, her in-laws Howard and Ethel Seifried, brother in laws Allan Seifried and Dan Sheehan and niece Jindi Van Buren.

Visitation will be at Oakland Memorial Funeral Home in Oakland NJ on Thursday March 21st from 10am-11:30am, a funeral service will begin at 11:30am. Internment will follow immediately at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice is requested.
