I was so saddened to hear of Joseph's passing. I found out via a letter sent out from Prudential. Joseph once came to my home and sat at my dinner table to discuss my policy and needs. He wasn't just an insurance agent he cared deeply about creating relationships and growing that relationship and making sure that his clients were knowledgeable about products that could help his client and the future of their families. Throughout the years he always mentioned his family and his daughters and you could hear the smile on his face over the phone. He was my agent for over 15 years, now that's knowing how to grow and keep clients in his portfolio. He always seemed like a wonderful person and my heart goes out to his family whom I am sure miss him a great deal. I'm sure he is looking over his family and will always be in their hearts. He will not be replaceable. That old school genuine character is hard to find and unmatched. As a matter of fact I am now what Prudential refers to as an "orphan" account. And that is how I feel now that I know Joseph is no longer around to have my back protecting my portfolio. I have since requested a new agent but Joseph will never be replaced. I am just an ordinary person in his portfolio and he was able to touch my life so I'm sure that he was the rock of his family. I just wanted to let his family know that he touched an ordinary persons life and left me better for having known him and the generosity of his spirit. God Bless to the Vrindten family, And my sincere condolences. -Michelle Mercado, Leonia, NJ

Joe is my oldest brother and meant everything to me. He was my best friend, my mentor, my example of what a real man should be like and he lived his life as the rock of our family as well as his. Joe was funny, smart, caring and would do anything for anyone. I will keep you forever in my heart and share all your families triumphs with you because I now you are always with us and protecting us. I am so happy you are finally reunited with our brother Bob. Take care of us all till will all meet again in heaven.
God Bless You Joe My Guardian Angel,
Love Always,
Jim

Erin, Amanda, Brittany, and family: We are so saddened to hear the news about Joe. So many fond memories of Joe going back almost 40 years. Such a good man, kind, thoughtful, and steady. It's hard to put it all into the right words, but we know he will be missed terribly. We so regret not being able to make it back to New Jersey for services, but please know we are remembering him and thinking of you.

I am at a loss for words but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you (Erin, Amanda, Brittany, Mr and Mrs V, Jimmy and Mary). I was so fortunate to have been friends with Joe nearly our whole lives. Even though we went on to different high schools we still remained friends and have been for nearly 50 years. I was blessed to have known such a caring, devoted and hard working man and I will miss him immensely but I will always treasure the memories of our friendship.
