Obituary of Anthony M Papasso

Anthony Mark Papasso 80 years old born on  9/12/1943 passed away 1/23/2024. He was born in Brooklyn NY to Frank and Susan Papasso and brother to Nicholas. 

Tony married Helen Smith on 12/1/1996 and celebrated 27 wonderful years together.  He loved cruising to him it was the ultimate vacation especially when his dear friends Rob and Carole Ford joined him and  Helen.

Tony studied at St. Johns University and received a Masters Degree.  He was a Science Teacher before joining the government to work in the INS division know today as ICE. He retired in 1997, his first day of retirement he remarked I can't believe they paying me to sit home and drink coffee, life is good.

Tony leaves behind a slew of great friends and family to name a few his Sister in law Phyllis lee, his favorite cousins Ronny and Roseanne, which one was his favorite, I'm not telling.  His best bud Dan Marchelle who been by him through thick and thin these 8 years and especially these last 8 months.  His highlight of the week these last 7 years was Wednesday lunch with the boys and Helen of course, chicken wings and beer.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children hospital or Alzheimer's organization.

Here's to the Rooster LOL the ones who known him the longest will get the joke.
