Please share a memory of Angela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
We are greatly saddened by the loss of our beloved Mother,Grandmother,Great Grandmother, Aunt,Sister,Cousin and Friend, Angela Jean Angstadt (nee Milloni). Angela was born on March 3,1941 and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania. It was here she met Edward L. Angstadt and married him on Thanksgiving, November 26, 1959. Shortly after marrying they happily settled in Oakland,NJ. Angela spent many years raising her 5 children. As her children grew a bit older, Angela began several careers… One of Angela's great talents was writing. She was asked by the Oakland Historical Society to be the sole author of a book on the earlier history of the town of Oakland. Though long out of print, the book is still an important document of earlier Historical facts of Oakland. Shortly after her book was published she opened her home to young children…caring for them as their parents were working. Almost unheard of back then. Her success in this venture was well embraced by the parents and the children. During this venture she created a sweet newsletter “Helping Hands" offered by subscription. The newsletter included her knack for creating endearing stories, crafts and fun activities, all while embracing her love for our Lord. As her children grew older, Angela launched her long career into paralegal studies and Insurance. She started attending Felician College receiving certificates in Literary Studies and Paralegal Law. At the time she was attending college she was working full time for a local Insurance Agency. During this time she attained her Insurance Agent Status, quite the feat. Angela and Edward eventually relocated to Ocean Grove NJ and settled happily into retirement. Finally moving to Red Bank, NJ, where she was currently residing. Angela was a devout Christian and attended several favorite churches. She also enjoyed daily devotions with Edward… Angela lost her husband Edward in 2021 and her eldest son, Edward in 2012,.. Angela is survived by her children, Christian and Karen Angstadt of East Brunswick, NJ, Kimberly and Stanley, Cantilina of Middletown,NJ, Brett and Deborah Angstadt of Huntington Station, NY and Stephanne and Robert Franke of Oakland, NJ. She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren, Matt( Gina),Justin, Brandon, Amanda. Ashley and Max. Alley and Natalie. As well as great grandson, Jack, Visitation is on December 30,2023 from 11-1pm.
