I had the pleasure of meeting Mary 2 years ago when I helped her get some insurance policies to protect her family. Mary was kind, funny and full of energy. We met over Zoom for 2 1/2 hours and I helped her get the right coverage for her family. I stayed in touch with Mary for the past 2 years and I was sad to hear of her passing. She had a big heart and loved her family and friends very deeply. Sending her family and friends prayers and love during this very sad time.

My daughter Emma and I are so deeply saddened by the passing of Mary Pentel, a special and beautiful person.
I know Mary through my friendship with her sister Eileen and Emma's friendship with dear sweet Shaina.
I remember Mary as this funny, quick witted, imaginative, warm and loving woman. She always had a smile on her face. I remember getting silly at the kitchen table with Mary, Teresa and Eileen reading tarot cards and celebrating holidays.
My heart goes out to a family that has endured more loss than anyone deserves.
Our sincerest condolences to Bruce, Eileen, Noelle, Christina, Michael, Steve, Keri and others close to Mary.
Emma and I also send out thoughts and prayers to those family members who have sadly gone before. We know they are looking out for each other in a heavenly place.

As a young girl 2 years Mary's junior I was in awe of Mary as she was the superstar of Mr Parisi's IHHS Concert Chior class. Her voice was that of an Angel , so strong , like it was part of her true spirit. Mary was someone who left a memory mark from the 1970's. Sing Heavenly now Mary, thank you for sharing your talents and encouraging others to reach new heights.

We were fortunate enough to live near Doris & Freddy & theie kids growing up in Oakland. Mary was always the big sister, not just in age but in her manner. I remember family get togethers at Aunt Daisy & Uncle Al's and Mary would sing for us. We had our very own star.
Mary has always been so very kind, compassionate and generous - once again a star, not just within the family but for friends, professional associates and strangers. How fortunate we are to have had the opportunity to know and love her in this world and to keep her in our hearts and prayers as pray for her eternal rest.

I was fortunate enough to know Mary from when I was at Siemens and I first met her in 2013. Not only was she a professional, she was a friendly and compassionate professional. Mary helped me with hiring to hard to fill positions. Over the years we become friends and this is where I will remember her. She was also willing to share her life and let me share mine with her. I will miss her and trust she is now in front of Jesus Christ showing Him her generous and lovely soul.

You are not gone, as my heart refuses to accept that you are. You made a huge impact on my life these recent 4yrs and was looking forward to more. I guess lunch will have to wait huh? See you in heaven my friend. ❤️ Love you .. Lee

Mary is loved all the way to heaven. With the greatest respect and deepest condolences we will remember Mary. Her selfless contributions to all of us are too long to list here. But it is all documented in the book of life where her name is written forever. There is no one like her but her legacy will live on in the lives of all that she touched. It was an honor to know and to be loved by Mary and we will miss her dearly. Yes, her light that burned so bright here is gone temporarily from our sight but it truly is a flame burning even brighter in heaven. We will see her again. We will rejoice. Thank you Mary. You showed us how to live a better life and how to love each other as we are. Everyone was welcome at your table. Now you are with Jesus and he has welcomed you home.
Rest in peace our angel Mary Petnel ❤️
Love you always and forever ❤️ your brokenhearted Cousins Linda and Jimmy xo

Today my family lost an irreplaceable angel. We are devastated. I’m still in shock. The precious moments that Mary Petnel has given to me will stay in my heart forever. She was everyone’s Angel. She made everything so special, she made you feel treasured. This world was brighter because she was in it… There is no one like her. Her kindness was endless. She had such graceful strength. She was a faithful confidant to so many. Whatever challenge you were facing, she was there and made it better. There aren’t enough words of praise to express the treasure she was and will always be. I think Heaven was crying for us that day. My heart hurts with all of my cousins… I know she is in Heaven with her parents, her brother, Shaina, Teresa and my Ama & Gaga.

There are no words profound enough to express my deep love, gratitude and life lessons Mary shared with me throughout my 28 years of living. From a very young age I was introduced to broadway, operas, the classics of the world as well as filled with enormous amounts of love, care, kindness and warmth. You were one in a million and a second mother to me. I will forever carry out your legacy, traditions and show the world the same kindness, love and warmth you showed me. Forever and always my sweet, precious, caring aunt. Mar, until we meet again. I love you- love Noelle

Mary was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever had the privilege to know... I was bless to get to know her through her mother Doris who was a dear friend of mine. This is a photo from Mother's Day, May 11, 2014 in Ocean City, Md. May her beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. My sincere condolences.

My early memories of Mary were running back and forth between my Aunt Daisys aka Nanna to Mary and Our Grandma Rosie’s Oh and the wonder of Daisys attic and what treasures we could find there Fast forward many years later and Mary introduced me to a French 75 Had never heard the name And to see her order a martini just a little bit dirty… She was fun and joyous and endlessly generous with the biggest of hearts We will miss her dearly JoAnn and Dick
