With his beloved wife, Jean, he raised 5 children, first in Paterson and then from 1962 in Franklin Lakes, NJ. He served honorably in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Hank spent his entire career in the elevator industry with Otis Elevator, rising from an office clerk to Sales Manager. He retired after 48 years. In 2013, after serving 50 years as a boys coach, MBS named the gym “Hank Corsale Court”, an honor of which he was very proud.
In addition to coaching, Hank loved serving others and volunteered for a variety of organizations. Over the years, he took great joy in taking on the role of Santa at the annual MBS breakfast with Santa. He was a founding member of the MBS Breakfast Club where he shopped, cooked, and served breakfast after Sunday Mass, and at Eva’s Kitchen where he fed the hungry in Paterson. He also loved to perform in the FLOW Follies and later at the Wanaque Reserve Drama Club. He was a proud bocce player at Wanaque Reserve.
