Hannah lived life on her terms in a spirit of love, adventure, curiosity and fun. She always had new interests, travels, animals, friendships and gardens to tend to. Her home in Oakland welcomed us all with grand holidays feasts and lots of laughter. Wait, I think I hear an echo of laughter in the cosmos: Bernie and Tom greeting Hannah in a warm embrace in a cozy living room in the great beyond. All love to Aishling and James. Bronwyn

I have had this photo of Hannah and my mom on my fridge for years. I smile every time I look at their beautiful youthful faces. My siblings and I were so lucky to have Hannah live close by during our childhood. She was a loving, kind and hilarious presence throughout. She helped to create so many wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. I can still see Aishling and James (who were the cutest babies) toddling around the house and hear Hannah’s wonderful laugh at their adorable antics. She was such a good mom! She will continue to be a model of strength, resilience, humor, and kindness for all of us. Thank you dear auntie Hannah! I ❤️ You!

She was a courageous person suffered many years from cancer yet remained her feisty self. Her life wasn’t easy but she lived it with integrity, raised two children who loved her and showed it by being there for her. I’ll miss knowing she’s no longer here. Love Keith

Hannah is my beautiful aunt. She is an inspiration to be strong, kind and loyal and to take no nonsense from anyone. Hannah had me doubled over laughing on many occasions. She knew how to enjoy life; even during great adversity and challenges, she'd be the one cracking the funniest jokes, Hannah brought family together. When my mom died, Hannah provided us with a sense of belonging and a connection to family through holiday and other get togethers in her home where we would all talk and laugh for hours. As much as I admire Hannah, I feel the same about the adults she raised. The older I get, the more I realize, it's rare to meet people who are this kind, intelligent, loyal, giving and fun to be around; and I am thankful they are family.
