Obituary of Rosanne Furnbach
Please share a memory of Rosanne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rosanne Furnbach, 80 of Ringwood, NJ passed away on July 17th, 2022. She was the wife of the one and only love of her life, the late Ronald Furnbach Sr. for 61 happy years. They met as teenagers in Erskine Lakes, Ringwood NJ where her family came from Brooklyn, NY to spend the summers and where Ron had lived. They eventually married and settled into their forever home in the Stonetown section of Ringwood. Rosanne was the most cherished mother of Ronald Furnbach Jr. of Coconut Creek, Florida and Laurie Ricciardi and her husband Andrew of North Haledon, NJ. Loving Nan of Joseph Ricciardi, Jasen Ricciardi and Nicole Napolitano, Joseph's girlfriend. Family was everything to Rosanne. Her husband, children and grandchildren were always her top priority! Their needs always came before her own. Her happiest days were the ones doing all things with family and close friends, especially with her dear friend Loretta Thulin, who was more like a sister to Rosanne.
Rosanne shared an unforgettable and special bond with each member of her family and couldn't be more proud of her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving parents Frank and Ann LoCurto, and her brother William LoCurto. Her mom showed her how to make the best tomato sauce, lasagna and eggplant parmigiana, as well as how to make a home warm, welcoming and cozy. Sunday dinners were always something to look forward to! Her dad made her into one of the biggest Yankee fans there ever was. She enjoyed watching the games and cheering her team on. Frequent trips to the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City with her husband were a favorite thing to do, and were even more fun when family and friends came along. She also enjoyed spending the winters in sunny Florida. Rosanne will be remembered as the most loving, caring, kind and generous wife, mother, Nan and friend you could ever wish for. She will be deeply missed by us all. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Ringwood Vol Ambulance Corp would be appreciated.
