May the sadness turn to joy for a life well lived. Uncle Ed was a wonderful influence and a great part of my parents lives as well as mine. He is the reason I’ve always wanted a bulldozer. His legacy lives on.

My condolences to Ed's family. Ed was a friend of my Dad and patron to H.P. Burns and Sons for many years. Jean and Ed were friends to my Mom and parishioners of Ponds Church. I've known the Potash's my whole life and appreciated Ed caring for my families cemetery plot for many years. Rest Easy Mr Potash you are in good company. You're kindness will be remembered. God Bless

When I arrived in Oakland, NJ. to be the new Supt. of Schools I had the good fortune of being introduced to Ed Potash. We had some very positive and uplifting conversations about our schools, our church and the community of Oakland. He was a wealth of very factual and treasured information. We had four things in common: we loved our family, our church and community and were proud members of the Greatest Generation. We enjoyed spending time with Ed and Jean at Ponds Reformed Church. Ed and Jean were always ready to exchange a smile, spiritual blessing and a keen sense of humor. He made us all better people by knowing him. We will miss our beloved friend, Ed Potash. My thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Jean, Tom, J.D., Wendy and Linda. I am very sorry for the loss of Uncle Ed. He was a great Uncle and I have great memories of family events and the talks he and I had as he helped me through my Dad’s passing and before helping with his problems. We all come from a loving caring family and we all share your grief. I am so glad I got to visit in October as it was so nice being with him and Aunt Jean. That is a memory I will cherish. Unfortunately due to COVID and the spike right now, I cannot get up to Oakland but you all will be in my thoughts during this time. My love to you all.
