Barbara Fuduli (Omi) age 88, a long time resident of Oakland peacefully passed away and has gone home to the Lord. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Everyone who knew her, loved her and everyone that she met she left a lasting impression. She was a special woman who loved her family above all. She touched so many lives in the most positive way and will be missed dearly. Omi married the love of her life and enjoyed traveling the world with him.
Barbara enjoyed reading, gardening, being on the beach, spending her time with family and friends, and of course with her dog, CJ. She was a long time member of Ponds Reformed Church in Oakland where her faith was felt by everyone she loved. Barbara was actively involved with the church and all its activities. Her relations with the members of the church touched her heart deeply.
She had such a special friendship of 75 years with Jean Potash and shared so many memories and fun times with Jean, her husband Ed and the Potash family.
She graduated from Roosevelt School of Nursing in New York City and spent her entire career taking care of people. Barbara spent many years working in the OR, ER, and plastic surgery.
Predeceased by her husband Frank, she is survived by her three children Mark, Michele and her husband Frank, and Rob. She was also a proud grandmother to Amanda and her fiance Pete, Christopher and his wife Chelsea, Nicole, Heather, Robert Jr., and great grandson Tyler. Barbara is also survived by her brother Larry and many nieces.
The viewing will be held at Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ on Thursday, January 28th 2021 from 3-7 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the spring to honor her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ponds Church or Tomorrow's Children Fund of Hackensack University Medical Center.
