Dini and Frank sponsored my parents when they immigrated to America in 1955. The four of us lived with Dini, Frank and Lucy in a 2 bedroom apartment for a couple of years as my parents found jobs to reestablish themselves to become self- reliant. This was a trying time for all. Dini babysat 3 young kids, got me registered in school, while keeping the house in order and preparing lunch and dinner for the expanded family. For this, I’ll be forever grateful because later on it allowed me to find the love (Evie) of my life 53 years ago and still going strong, get married, have 3 great kids (Craig, Kevin and Cheryl) and 2 grandchildren (Connor and Chloe). As my family grew and job moved us away from the North Jersey area, the occasional visits to see Dini (and Frank) were heartfelt and welcoming. Always something cheerful to talk about and remembrances of earlier days. Dini loved family. She will be missed, but not forgotten. Dini is now reunited with the love of her life - Frank.

Dear Lucy and Daniel,
I am very saddened to hear about the passing of Aunt Dini. Some of my earliest memories involve times that she and Uncle Frank came over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to sit around the dining room table, eat, and play cards. I can still see her smile and hear her voice and her wonderful laughter.
You will be in my thoughts in the coming days and weeks. Please take care.

My beloved Aunt Dini will remain forever in my dreams. She was very special to me. Her hearty laugh could fill any room with joy. The last time I saw her... her mind was clear and she embraced my face with her hands and looked into my eyes with such joy and love. That will always be a special gift for me. And that is how I will remember her.
I have an old black and white photograph of her with me as a toddler running around in front of her causing two year old havoc. And she is laughing... that wonderful laugh in the picture. Captured forever... as she is captured forever in all of our hearts.
You are with The Ancestors now sweetheart. They have been waiting with open arms.
"Rust in vrede mijn mooie Tante..."
Love Always... Ralph

Dear Aunt Dini,
I met you when you came to America and I was only two years old. I was charmed
from the very beginning by your Dutch accent and your wonderful stories of
growing up in Holland. Lucy and Daniel, your mom and grandmother was
a wonderful, happy person who always seemed to both have a smile and give a smile.
May she rest in peace with Uncle Frankie and all her family members.
With love your nephew, Sal (Butchie)

Lucy and Daniel, our heartfelt condolences with Aunt Dini's passing. My earliest memories are of her laugh, her affection and seeing her and Uncle Frank on Saturday nights when the whole family was together. But most of all, I remember her always greeting me with "Hello Doll." Her loss is not something you will endure alone, but by all in our family.
