It’s difficult to grapple with the passing of such a beautiful soul. I will always remember the sparkle in Phyllis’ eyes and her easy smile. She “sparkled” both inside and out. She had so many wonderful qualities. Phyllis was the kindest and most gentle person I’ve ever known. In keeping with her ever-present thoughtfulness, she texted me the day she was rushed to the hospital to wish my husband a happy birthday and to apologize for the lateness of the text. She left this earth less than 24 hours later. My life is fuller for having known her; my life is sadder for no longer having her in it. I am thankful for having her friendship and affection for 50 years. Phyllis, you have a special place in my heart forever. God speed my dear friend.
