My sincere heartfelt condolences to Marion and the entire Gilmore family. Thank you for being such great neighbors to my parents and my entire family. Marion and Walt welcomed my parents with open loving arms when they moved to Oakland and we all became immediate friends. I loved sitting and listening to him tell stories of his early days in Oakland. He had a wealth of information that only a long-time resident can share. Walt and I shared a love of vegetable gardening and I will always remember his smiling face when we shared our veggies. He was a kind and wonderful man. Rest in peace dear friend.
