I was a long time employee of Mrs VanPopering’s son in law Dr A Kuchler. My husband Wayne was a resident of North Haledon and knew Joyce and Mr Scordato well. Their daughter Toni was a lovely person too. When Joyce came by Dr’s Hawthorne office she always asked how my husband Wayne was and he asked the same when he knew I saw her.
She was a very kind, funny person and caring and easy to talk to, never too busy to pass the time. The Travers’ family will miss knowing she’s not with us. All the best to her daughter, son in law and family.
