Kathleen Elizabeth Holden (nee Donahue) went home to her heavenly Father on February 28, 2020 in Ridgewood, NJ surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

The mass will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11 am with Father Thomas Paul Lipnicki officiating. Visitation will be held at Oakland Memorial Home on Monday, March 2, from 3:00-8:00 pm.
Kathleen was born in Yonkers, NY to Kathleen Marie and John Howard Donahue on September 25, 1945. She went to high school at St. Barnabas and graduated from Berkeley Secretarial School. She worked as an administrative assistant for Kallman Worldwide, which allowed her to spend time travelling the world. She enjoyed playing Mah Jongg and Canasta with the ladies, spending time at the beach down in Long Beach Island and Florida, praying with her Circle of Light prayer group, and laughing with her family. She was an avid reader who enjoyed getting together with her book club, which included her good friends from the neighborhood. She was especially delighted by her 13-month-old granddaughter Ruby, who she said was the “light of her life”.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband Edward, of Wanaque, NJ, her son James, daughter-in-law Megan, and their baby Ruby. She is also survived by her sister Eleanor Donahue of Tampa, FL, sister Margaret Tana and husband Dominic of Mahopac, NY, sister Ellen Martirano and husband Tom of Washingtonville, NY, and brother Jon Donahue and wife Valerie of Argyle, TX. She is also survived by her niece Ann-Marie Flannery, and nephews Scott Platz and wife Bridgett, Tommy Martirano and wife Marissa, Matthew Martirano and wife Dina, Angelo and John Tana, and Helm Donahue and wife Jamie. She is a great aunt to Connor and Gillian Flannery, Samuel and Oliver Platz, and Jackson Donahue.
