Connie and I have known each other for 15 years. I am her financial adviser. We always had great conversations over those years. She was very happy at the Holland Christian Home. She had a great and appreciative joy of life.. She loved her family and friends very much.
I will miss her.

We have lost our Matriarch for our group get together of many decades. She will leave a whole in our hearts but knowing she is with Arnold helps ease the burden. We Loved Connie dearly, her loving and caring ways, her great sense of humor, our wonderful conversations and of course her birthday cards every year. Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers are with Will, Dave, Barbara and their families.

Dear Mom, you've earned your keep, and then some. Your wish of 27 years to go be with Dad has finally arrived. Those of us who know you well will be comforted in our sorrow with knowing there's no place you would rather be.
The best of the best among us are described as "loyal and faithful servants" which you certainly were. But we need two more adjectives to describe you Mom. Your tireless and selfless example of "do unto others" wasn't just part of the Golden Rule to you, it was how you lived your life.
Put 20 people who knew you in a room and the stories of the good you've done would be countless. Now extend that good over a lifetime and imagine the legacy you've left in your wake, and the loss felt by so many.
I've always drawn sustenance from the wonderful memories I have of growing up with the two best parents a kid could ever have, and I know Barb and Will feel the same. When Dad passed away we still had you in our lives. This time there is no parent to catch us, so the hurt is going to have a little more sting to it this time.
Don't be sad when you see us shed a tear, it's just residue borne of the love we have inside for you. I remember after Dad passed away you had a copy of "Safely Home" taped on the kitchen cabinet. I would read it and always think of Dad, except these last two verses always reminded me of you and your joy of someday being reunited with Dad. It gave me great comfort then, and it gives me great comfort now:
"There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remainith
You shall rest in Jesus' land
When the work is all completed,
He will gently call you home;
Oh the rapture of that meeting,
Oh the joy to see you come!"
We Love You Mom...

We are so sad to hear of Connie's passing. She was a spirited lady and had the most awesome "duck tape" repairs on her cars. She was fun and funny. We will miss her and offer our deepest condolences to her family. May she rest in peace. Laurie and Ron Badone
