Marilyn J. Lund (nee Martone) age 76 of Oakland sadly passed away on Wednesday, August 14. Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, William, her loving daughter Melissa and "son" Peter Murphy, adored grandmother of Siobhan and predeceased by her cherished son William. Dear sister of Edith and brother-in-law Joseph Martin.  Beloved aunt to Alice, Kristina, Nicole, Natalie and Neil and their families. Marilyn enjoyed a nice relationship with her stepdaughters and their families...Maureen and Rich Fogel and their children Scott and David and Monica and Rob Enright and their children Samantha and Robbie.Marilyn loved the beach, coffee ice cream, Johnny Mathis, flowers, car rides and especially being with her family. Visitation on Sunday, August 18 from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at Oakland Memorial Home.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 19 at Oakland Memorial Home.  Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
