Dear Marybeth-We are so, so sorry for your loss and are thinking of you and your family during these difficult days ahead. We are praying for your hearts to heal, and will continue to pray for your mom's recovery.
I remember the first time I met your parents (at the house in Lewiston, NY). It was so nice to escape the dorms and college food and spend the weekend with your wonderful parents. A gracious host, your dad never stopped feeding us. He even got up at 5:00am to make us a big breakfast on the Monday morning that we headed back to school!
What I remember most about your dad was that he smiled A LOT, and that he was always very kind to me. I hope you all find comfort in the thought that your dad no longer suffers and is in a wonderful place. May he always live in your hearts.
