Dear Tom, Ann & Tom, Jr.,
You have my deepest most heartfelt condolences. I heard the devastatingly sad news from Tom just hours ago; thank you Tom for calling me. I last saw Jean this March and she was not her usual sunny, beautiful smiling self but she thought she merely had a bad back. Jeannie was sweet, kind and so darn intelligent. She was like a 2d lawyer in the office. She was talented, conscientious and a workaholic. I would have paid her any amount to lure her to Clifton with me.
Please know that she touched so many of us indelibly. She is and will continue to be greatly missed. Godspeed Jeannie, for you are truly one of God's great souls.
