Spagnolo, Benjamin, 77, of Oakland, NJ on September 20th 2015. Ben worked as an Electrical Engineer for 45 years with Singer Kearfott. He leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years, Claire Spagnolo (nee: Burke). Ben was a devoted father to his daughters Debbie Elia and husband James Foley, Donna and Dave Kimmel, Diane and Joe Stio, Sandra and Scott Aiken, Dawn and Carl Pizzimenti, Danielle and David Hertz, and sons Joseph, Mark and wife Cathy, and Benjamin and wife Joanne. He is the cherished grandfather of seventeen and great-grandfather of seven. He was also survived by his brother Armando (Butch) and wife Jackie and sister Antoinette (Phyllis) Celia. Ben was a friend to everyone he met and nothing pleased him more than preparing a meal for friends and family in his home. Viewing will be at the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ on Thursday, September 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, 10 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes. Followed by Entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, 295 Totowa Road Totowa, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to offset funeral expenses would be welcomed ?
