Mr.. Lamberson was a dear friend of my parents. I have such fond memories of him. He and Mrs. Lamberson were very much a part of my growing up. So sad to hear about his passing, but I know that he led a very full life. I will always remember him with a smile!

North Jersey Chorus Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser - Howard is stirring the pot...and when the event was over, Howard vigorously mopped the kitchen floor with a large, old-fashioned string mop, saying how it reminded him of swabbing the deck of a ship from his Navy days.

I met Howard twenty years ago in 1995 when I became a member of the North Jersey Chorus, the year when women were invited to join the chorus that, formerly, had been a male.chorus. Not only did we sing together, but we worked together on fundraising events and, when I became Treasurer of the chorus, Howard offered guidance and advice on keeping the books. He had served many terms as chorus Treasure long before me. I will always remember how he took attendance at every rehearsal which he kept on a small notepad, He pitched in with full engagement with whatever was going on. Howard was a true gentleman, a devoted husband and a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

It was truly a joy to know such a great man! Howard was the gem of the North Jersey Chorus and that familiar face you always looked for at practice. I know it was difficult for him to give up this part of his life when his legs got bad last year. I enjoyed speaking with him and he always asked about the chorus and wanted to know what songs we were singing. My deepest sympathy to Mary and Howard's children - I will be greatly missed but know he's singing with the choirs of angels now!
