Grajauskas, Ronald John age 66 of Oakland, NJ for 33 years formerly of Cliffside Park passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on January 19, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind his loving wife of 33 years, Carole (nee Pawlak) Grajauskas and their daughters Jennifer Lynch and her husband John, and Laura Grajauskas and her boyfriend Thomas Weaver Jr. He is also survived by his Grandson, Connor James Lynch, his mother Antoinette, his brother Harvey of Closter, NJ and many nieces and nephews. Before graduating Tarkio College in Missouri with a BS in Economics, Psychology and Business Administration, Ron attended the University of Corpus Christi, Texas. An avid outdoorsman and sportsman Ron enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, canoeing, Team Tennis, softball and snowboarding with his daughters. Prior to his retirement, Ron worked for Lancaster Steel, CCH Computax and owned a Meineke Car Repair business in Pennsylvania. After retiring, he enjoyed being a Substitute Teacher at Indian Hills and Ramapo High Schools and also worked the Board of Elections in Oakland. Ron had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family and friends and his pet dogs, Lexi and Sadie. He touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday 9:45 AM at St Elizabeth's R.C. Church 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. Burial will follow at Maryrest Cemetery Mahwah, NJ. Relatives and Friends may visit the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Road on Friday January 23, 2015 from 2 to 7 PM In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oakland First Aid Squad or your local Animal Shelter in his memory.
