Romaniello, Charles 82, of Wanaque, died Friday August 8th after a long illness. He was born in Paterson and raised his family in Oakland before moving to Wanaque 30 years ago. He was the husband for 61 years of Margaret (nee Ranke), loving Father of Alan and his wife Cheryl Romaniello, Valerie and her husband Andrew Bruno, and the late Lynn Romaniello (1994), proud Grandfather of Andy, Max & Donna Bruno, and Jonathan & Laura Romaniello. He is also survived by a sister, Constance Caruso, brothers Frank & Leonard Romaniello (and their spouses), and many nieces and nephews. Charles was a former member of the Oakland Fire Dept., and was a member of Teamsters Local 560. Viewing will be at Oakland Memorial Home on Saturday, August 16, 9:30-11:30 AM, followed by services at Messiah Lutheran Church, 228 Ramapo Valley Rd. in Oakland. Burial will be at Ponds Church Cemetery in Oakland.
