Obituary of J Ronald. Esak

Ron Esak on January 27th, 2014 passed away, at the age of 69. of Fort Myers FL and Formally of Oakland, NJ he enjoyed life to fullest all the way up until the last minute when his heart failed while on vacation in Jamaica. He died while doing one of the things he loved most, second only to spending time with his loving daughter Lisa, his grandkids Trey and Jake, and their parents, Joe his son and wife Lori. His love of the ocean drew from a well of fishing, boating, swimming and diving, he was most comfortable in as little clothing as possible, and always needed the feel of sand between his toes. He was a graduate of Ramapo High School and went on to Michigan State where he met his wife of 38 years Mary, played football, was in several bands, and the Air Force and Army ROTC. After his time in the service he went on to be a successful businessman creating Nexus Plastics, which provided him the opportunity to be a generous person to all he knew, while allowing for early retirement. In his retirement he didn't slow down at all taking boat trips with his closest friends, Summering at LBI, seeing the world, playing tennis, and fishing, along with spending as much time as possible with his family and friends. He is survived by his children, grandkids, brother John and sister Donna Fulton, and eleven nieces and nephews,companion Roberta and countless extended family and friends. Please join us in remembering him On Sunday February 9th, 2014 at the Oakland Memorial Home 330 Ramapo Valley Rd. Oakland NJ 07436 from 2-4 & 7-9. Services will be held on Monday February 10th, 2014, 10:30am at the Assyrian Orthodox Church, 644 Paramus Rd. Paramus NJ 07654. In lieu of flowers please make donations in support of either of the causes Ron held dear, Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Inc., 2 Shelter Lane Oakland, NJ 07436, where his daughter is active or the Collings Foundation, P.O. Box 248 Stow, MA 01775 combining a love of flying and history.
